Islamic countries’ heads must act on justice, rationality basis: Ayatollah Ramazani

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The heads of the Islamic countries need to act on the basis of justice and rationality, so that the people of these countries can reach individual and social perfection, and their obstacles on this path will be removed.”

ABWA Official Website – In the webinar of the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “One of the important topics in the Islamic world, which Islamic scholars and intellectuals need to pay attention to, is the concept of peace and war.”

    2de3db0c-ff98-4baf-8533-8963ec4d2f93.jpg

“Divine prophets were sent [by God] to guide people and to show them the right way and path,” he added, “Because knowing the way and the destination is the most important mission assigned to them.”

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The heads of the Islamic countries need to act on the basis of justice and rationality, so that the people of these countries can reach individual and social perfection, and their obstacles on this path will be removed.”

“Islam is not warmongering among mankind. Some extremists, with their takfiri point of view, spread violence among the world’s people, and did inhumane actions, thereby causing fear in the hearts of the world's people,” he added.

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “What is important in Islam is authentic values and knowing mankind in various dimensions.”

Further, while referring to the concept of sustainable peace, he pointed out, “From the perspective of the Holy Quran, peace is based on justice; the peace that precedes everything. During the time of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), some tyrants and oppressors were always opposing him and did not allow the Prophet to fulfill his mission. They used to attribute [unfair] things to the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and hindered the social, cultural, political, etc. development in the society. But the Prophet (p.b.u.h) confronted all of them. Therefore, the enemies saw the Prophet as an obstacle to achieving their goals, and they used all their efforts to confront him. Today, in modern Jahiliyyah (ignorance), we see different forms of such colonialism.”

“Islam has determined war to confront oppressors, wealth worshipers, and hypocrites. Islam has determined war to confront those who oppose justice and human rights,” Ayatollah Ramadani said.

“In this regard, some ignorant people attribute violence to Islam. While this is not true. We all know that Islam is the religion of mercy and resistance, and it confronts the system of domination, tyrants, and aggressors,” continued the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Islam seeks a “just peace”, and this does not conflict with resistance to tyrants,” he said in the end.
