Sheikh Zakzaky Highlights Media’s Role in Promoting AhlulBayt (a.s.) Teachings
Speaking at the third International Conference of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Media Narrators held in Qom with the participation of media professionals from Iran and African countries, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky expressed appreciation for the initiative and emphasized the need to expand the dissemination of AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings through social media, calling for the continuation of such efforts.
The third International Conference of “AhlulBayt (a.s.) Media Narrators” commenced Thursday morning, May 1, 2025, in Qom, coinciding with the Ten Days of Dignity (from the first day of Dhu al-Qadah marked as Lady Masoumeh’s (a.s.) birth anniversary, to Dhu al-Qadah 11, coinciding with Imam Reza’s (a.s.) birth anniversary). The event was held at the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, with the participation of media professionals and intellectuals from Iran and several African countries. It has been organized by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International News Agency (ABNA).
Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, Secretary-General of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, emphasized the importance of social media in promoting the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in a message to the conference. He stated, “We must utilize the potential of media to convey the message of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to the people. This is a responsibility that rests on the shoulders of media outlets such as ABNA News Agency, which has provided an effective platform for transmitting these teachings.”
He also expressed his gratitude for the foresight of the Supreme Leader in establishing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and praised the efforts of Ayatollah Ramazani in facilitating the organization of this conference. He expressed hope that more such conferences would be held in the future and that the expansion of media activities affiliated with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) would continue with strength.
